About us

PHB Contractors Ltd have been creating and renovating lakes and ponds in the rich and diverse countryside of the South East of England for over 20 years.
Based in West Sussex, our lakes and landscaping division specialise in the design, construction and maintenance of lakes, ponds and water features.

We have been privileged to have undertaken contracts for organisations such as

• Environment Agency
• National Trust
• West Sussex County Council
• Brighton and Hove City Council
• Southern Water
• English Nature

As well as for many designers, landscape architects and private clients alike.

All of our earthworks and landscaping are carried out by our own experienced team, incorporating project management, highly skilled machine operators and labouring staff alike. PHB also run a very successful plant hire business in the Sussex, Hampshire and Surrey area and we use our own plant on all of our contracts. This, together with our in-house workforce allows us to offer a significant edge, with the emphasis on reliability, consistency and a quality end product.
