Renovated and lined pond, Braintris House, Essex

This pond was suffering from decades of neglect and was struggling to hold water. The silts were sensitively removed using excavators and carted to a corner of the client’s land to decompose. After a small extension was created, a new liner system was installed using concealed block work to ensure a reliable and robust construction. The pond margins were then overlaid with soil ready for planting and the surrounds re-seeded.
