Constructing and engineering a body of water requires skill and experience to ensure the correct environmental, aesthetic and structural aspirations are met.
Our professional and highly skilled teams, together with our own earthmoving equipment, will carry out all excavations and landscaping to the project to a quality that is second to none. Construction methods and access routes are carefully planned to minimize disruption to the neighbouring environment. Drainage details, water supply and overflow features are incorporated using modern techniques and materials to ensure longevity and reliability.
Every commission is different and some may include such aspects as;
- canals
- streams
- waterfalls
PHB have constructed many of these, each individually tailored to the project and are hand built, where possible using local and native stone and rockwork.

Jetties, bridges, boathouses and pavilions included in the scheme are expertly crafted by our local carpenters from a variety of hard and soft woods as required.
Where liners are required we only use the highest quality butyl, EPDM and geo-textiles from reputable suppliers and carefully monitor the installation and welding to guarantee integrity and durability.
Tree, scrub and land clearance or remediation can all be encompassed as part of the overall construction process. Finally, the aquatic planting and soft landscaping schemes are completed, whether grass seed, turf of wildflower. All the client has to is watch their incredible new water landscape grow and mature !
